I completed my BA in Marketing and earned a Master’s Degree in Management, graduating with a 3.97 GPA. I am well versed in a number of career fields, however I’m most passionate about Social Media Marketing!
The bulk of my corporate experience has been in the Telecommunications Industry, working for Fortune 100 companies. I’ve held positions as an Acting Area Manager, Data Tech Center Supervisor, Project Manager and a Manager of Staff Operations.
During my tenure as an Operations Manager, I was personally selected by the Mid-West Regional Vice President to join his staff. I was afforded the autonomy to oversee business compliance & strategies, training & development and quality assurance efforts. I also designed a Frame Relay/ATM Reference Manual that was published and distributed throughout the Midwest region.
Since becoming a Freelance Business Consultant in 2006, my work has appeared in a number of major publications. I have been interviewed and featured in Latino Perspectives Magazine and BBCMundo.com. I’ve also been mentioned over the airwaves of an Atlanta radio broadcast, as well as referenced by New York Times best selling author Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez.
My peers, mentors and friends have described me as being sincere, innovative, compassionate, a problem-solver, thought provoking, and a intuitive empathic, with tons of integrity.
On a personal note: I love my pets, my mom who happens to be my BFF, my fiancé (…and not necessarily in that order ☺), my Christian faith, living in Maui, HI, mentoring others, road trips, video games, and my beautiful Seagull guitar. I am a 5-day a week practicing vegan/vegetarian, with a fondness for activism and the human condition.
